This is one of those hidden gems... The Wonder Bar has been around forever, I’ve been going there for over 30 years and now we have started taking my son there. When you go, get there early and keep it simple, on our last trip we had a plain pizza, amazing chicken tenders and the trio, all were fresh and cooked to perfection. Our waitress was great, extremely friendly and very attentive. In this day of chain restaurants all serving the same previously frozen garbage this is a true gem of yesteryears with fresh made quality food.
A group of seven of us went to the wonder bar pizza restaurant before going to see the rodeo at the DCU center. We let our server, Kristen, No, we were a little pressed for time and she got our drinks and food in promptly. The place was packed every seat in the restaurant, but they still got our drinks and food out as quick as could be! Besides the impressive wait time, kristen Was a fantastic waitress, who was friendly and Attentive. A couple of us got pizzas, some got Burgers, a calzone and a pastrami sandwich. Everyone agreed their food was an A! The drinks were great! I got the Lemon drop.. we don't go to Worcester often but when we do, we're going to make sure we visit the wonder bar!
Three of us ate lunch here. Our wait person was Chazzline (? Spelling?)and she was awesome. Friendly, helpful, great personality.We had fried pickles to start. They were lightly coated and fried perfectly. Very delicious! We ordered a pepperoni pizza and a bacon & sausage pizza. Both were very good. The bar tender was also friendly and helpful. We're looking forward to going back.
Wonderbar was my Friday lunch destination for 15 or so years. Pizza was the best, bar none in the area. Gloria was the best waitress I've ever had and always treated us fantastic. When the family moved and it closed we, me and my work buddies, were crushed, but such is life. 2 years later we learn it's been bought and has reopened. Very hesitantly went to lunch to see how things had changed. Well, the place is cleaned up with a more modern motif, but as it turns out the pizza didn't change a lick. Still that great thin crispy crust we came to love. Apparently the new owners bought not just the restaurant but also the recipes. Could not have been happier. Since then I've moved work out of the area and cant visit as often. However I visited recently after a several year absence and was glad to see the food was still fantastic, as well as the experience. Fantastic food, great atmosphere, and decent prices. Love this place.
Alright this place was decent, however I feel like I got the wrong thing. The pizza I got was good (dill pickle pizza). However, it felt more like pickle bread then pizza being a white pizza and all. I'll be back for something else. My biggest complaint about this place is their horrible hours. But what can you do. They also do not allow delivery and I'm not sure if they do pick up?
Best pizza in Worcester! Love the atomsphere and wait. The staff are great here! You won't be disappointed!
Great place to get a beer and eat pizza. The cheese pizza was one of the best I have had in worcester and I have been to many pizzerias in worcester.
I had dinner at Wonder Bar earlier today. It was great. The pizza was perfect, like it was with the previous owners. My family lived in this area for years before moving to another town nearby. It was our weekly place to eat. The staff was awesome and so friendly. We will be back soon to enjoy another great dinner. Thank you for keeping Wonder Bar pizza the best ever.
